Choral Evensong with a remembrance for Ken Homburg
Many parishioners may remember Ken Homburg, a dedicated acolyte who served for over 50 years. Upon his passing, Mr. Homburg remembered the Cathedral in his final wishes, and made it possible for the cathedral to purchase new albs (vestments) for acolytes. On Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the 4:00 p.m. Choral Evensong, Mr. Homburg’s life and legacy will be remembered with special prayers and intentions. All current and former acolytes are invited to attend, vest (if you’d like), and be a part of the procession. If you are able to attend and would like to be included in the procession, please RSVP to Emery Dumas no later than Friday, April 12. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Emery Dumas, Head Verger at 231.590.6720 or via email at emeryja21@hotmail.com.

Historic Prayerbook Liturgy Services
As a part of the 200th Anniversary Year of St. Paul’s, we are excited to share with you that we will be offering a service from each of the three historic Books of Common Prayer that have been used over the course of the worship life of the congregation. They include the 1789, 1892, and 1928 Books of Common Prayer. Not intended as reenactments, these liturgies give us the opportunity to experience the various ways in which our worshipping life has been shaped in the 200 years of our congregation.

May 26
