Detroit Church Partnership

The Detroit Church Partnership is a clergy-sharing partnership between All Saints’ Episcopal Church, St. Matthew’s & St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church, the Cathedral, and the Rev’d Anthony Estes. Fr. Anthony will serve as Rector of All Saints and St. Matthew’s & St. Joseph’s, and as Associate and Partnership Missioner at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul.

The virtues and benefits of sharing resources between parishes is not unknown to our Diocese. And now, more than ever, God calls us to walk alongside each other intentionally for the furtherance of God’s mission in Southeast Michigan. After much prayer and counsel together, everyone is excited for the possibilities this partnership will bear for these congregations and for the life of our diocesan household. This new and creative approach to ministry sharing between congregations seeks to empower deeper spiritual engagement and growth, strengthened and expanded worship and education opportunities, and the development of new ways of reaching into the community and city to share Christ’s love in life-changing ways.
