There are many opportunities at the Cathedral for Christian Education. The programs are offered by both clergy and laity. For more information on a particular program, please reach out to us at info@detroitcathedral.org.
Bible Study
Sundays at 9:30 am
We gather to discuss the readings from the 11:00 a.m. service.
Holy Knitting
Tuesdays, 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
First and Third Tuesdays of each month.
We welcome all new and seasoned knitters/crafters. At present we are knitting prayer shawls and prayer squares, and hats and scarves. Whatever you might be working on, just bring it along and spend some time in our good company.
For Children: Soft Play
At the Cathedral, we believe in the importance of children in worship. We believe it is important for them, and for the community of faith as a whole. Therefore, children are encouraged to attend worship with their families.
There is a Soft Play area in the cathedral inviting to our youngest members and visitors.
A special children’s bulletin is available at the information desk in the gallery for them to use during the service.
Young Adult and Campus Ministry
The Cathedral has an ongoing relationship with the local campus community and students. Check out All.together for more information!
